Keeping your NFTs Safe
We have seen numerous members of our community targeted by scammers. It is vital that you are vigilant and cautious of any communication you receive regarding your maps.
Whenever you receive any communication, or want to access your wallet/NFTs, use these tests to ensure your maps and wallet are kept safe.
If you're not sure whether or not something is real, we're happy to verify any communication! Simply open a support ticket, show us a screenshot or copy of the message you've received, and we'll let you know if it's genuinely from us.

1. Is it a DM?
None of the NFTMaps team will ever direct message you about your maps or wallet. We strongly suggest disabling direct messages from the MetaClient Discord server entirely.
This can be done by right-clicking the MetaClient Discord server and selecting "Privacy Settings".
2. Is it from an "admin", "MetaClient" etc?
Watch out for people messaging you with an 'admin', 'system', 'MetaClient' name etc. These are always scams. If we need to contact you about your maps, we will never contact you with your wallet address.
We also won't direct message you. So you know it's us, we'll open a support ticket and communicate with you there.
3. What's their name colour?
If you're on our Discord server, only people with a red name are members of our team. Our official bots all have a BOT sign next to their name, and exist in the MetaClient server.
